The Founding Partner
Rudo Stefanie Ncube
Rudo is a corporate legal specialist and seasoned commercial lawyer, advising on a wide range of
corporate and commercial transactions. As a highly skilled transactional lawyer, Rudo has a proven
track record in managing intricate mergers and acquisitions (M&A), corporate structuring, financing
arrangements, and transactions in the mining and energy sector.
Previously, Rudo served as the Group Legal Advisor and Head of Legal for the Masawara Group – a
multinational conglomerate with operations in Botswana, the United Kingdom, the United States,
South Africa and Zimbabwe, amongst others – where she played a pivotal role in overseeing the
Group’s complex legal matters. Before joining Masawara, Rudo honed her skills in corporate advisory
and transactional work at two leading law firms, both ranked by Chambers Global.
Rudo holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree and an Honours degree in Economics (with distinction)
from Rhodes University, as well as a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree, earned cum laude, from the
University of Pretoria.
Her focus areas include M&A, Environment, Social, and Governance (ESG), tech law, banking and
finance law, and energy law. Rudo’s extensive experience and academic excellence position her as a
trusted advisor in navigating complex legal and commercial landscapes.
